"Preparation and Challenges for Mandatory English Disclosure" - According to the Tokyo Stock Exchange, as of the end of December 2011, over 90% of Prime Market-listed companies were disclosing their financial results in English, but only about 40% were disclosing them simultaneously. While preparations are urgently needed to realize timely English disclosure, it's important to reconsider the issue of Japanese disclosure. If the Japanese disclosure content, which forms the basis of English disclosure, is unclear and difficult to translate, the intent may not be conveyed to overseas investors and may even be unpopular.
